Fun at the park
The Collins came to visit this past weekend and we included them in our Saturday night family tradition (for the summertime at least) of Five Guys and Rita's at the park. It was fun to get a glimpse of toddler-dom and everything that we have to look forward to with Nate (don't worry Sharla, you didn't scare us).
Six Weeks!
Nate is six weeks old (he'll be seven weeks tomorrow...I'm a little behind!)
Here is his comparison pic with Oatmeal the bear. From at home weighing he's up to almost 12 pounds.

He enjoys tummy time much more now and it getting good at his "baby push ups."

We're trying to get into a good routine of eat, play, sleep. He still prefers to nap anywhere other than his crib, as seen here:
He will usually play for about an hour and then sleep for two. He did sleep through the night on Friday (11-7), but we will account this to Aunt Lauren playing with him lots when she came over. I may be calling Lauren a lot. Usually he is sleeping in 3-4 hour increments at night.
We have been going on more outings-Wednesday night church and to Joel's office. This week we have our first playdate scheduled!

Easter weekend
We had a great Easter weekend. On Saturday we had our first outing as a family...we went to Town Center Park for dinner from Five Guys and Rita's Italian Ice! Nate slept through the whole trip, but we enjoyed getting out of the house.

And we took Nate to church for the first time. He again slept through the entire service, but that was a good thing!

One Month
Our little Nate is one month old today! Time has really flown by!
Nate is a good baby and generally content. He loves looking at his sailboat mobile and also lounging in his boppy pillow. He does not like having a dirty diaper and will let you know it! He likes to nap in his swing, but sleeps well in his crib at night. He will sleep for three or four hours at a time, wakes up to eat and goes back down pretty easily.
We got out of the house this week with a trip to the grocery store on Monday and to lunch and my old office on Thursday. Nate had a morning with his Aunt Lauren at our house while I went out to get a dress for Easter. Easter will be our first Sunday back at church and we can't wait.
At Nate's last jaundice check the doctor said he looked good enough to not have to come back for a one month check-up. So, we just have his weight from home and he is up to 9 lb 10 oz.
I forgot we had this video...here's Nate soon after his birth.
